WESTON, Fla., Feb. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Master hair stylist Shiela Gomez, who has pampered Weston, Florida residents and visitors for nearly a year now, opened her own salon in the Fortune International Realty Plaza (soon to be Lakeside Plaza) at 1641 Bonaventure Boulevard, in Weston. Named "aztig," meaning "cool" in Shiela's native Filipino slang, aztig urban salon seeks to amaze their clients (called "guests") with unparalleled service and treatment.
Once inside the salon, guests are offered a personal tour of the salon, then escorted to a comfortable living room-type area until they are greeted by their stylist. Guests are invited to have beverages upon arrival, with special Mimosa treats on Saturdays. At aztig, guests are free to flip through current magazines to look for their perfect style, but, if they can't find it there, they can use the internet cafe provided in the salon to search for their look – or just to check their email or web surf. aztig also provides free wifi for their guests should they desire to bring their own technology. If the guest simply wants to relax and read a book, aztig provides a borrow-or-bring mini-library stocked with various books and magazines.
aztig offers its signature "dry shampoo," started while sitting at the styling chair, and ending with a head massage that guests hope will never end. Manicures and pedicures are a spa experience as guests are ushered through to the spa area for those services. Facials and waxing are other superb services being offered. Spray tanning and full massage services will be offered soon.
aztig has created a new concept in beauty salons. For the added convenience of their guests, they offer services seven days a week, with special hours Sunday and Monday. You are their guests. They want you to seek refuge from the hustle and bustle and relax when you are there. They want you to look and feel spectacular when you finally decide to leave the salon. They want you to...define your style!
Look for the official announcement of aztig's GRAND OPENING scheduled for Saturday, March 20, 2010, where you can enjoy a live hairstyle fashion show, DJ entertainment, wine and hors d'oeuvres, as well as get a taste of the services aztig has to offer. www.aztigurbansalon.com
